TIPS FOR THE PREPARATION OF PUREES FRUIT

  • Cook the fruit in steam, it will help to preserve the nutrients in the food;
  • After cooking the fruit, you can knead it, or mince it with a little breast milk or formula;
  • Do not cook seasonal soft fruits, such as banana, avocado and kiwi. Just make mashed them with a little water, using a shredder;
  • Make sure that the consistency of the puree is liquid in the initial phase, after a few days, you can reduce the amount of water eventually.
  • Turn the fruit into puree with the help of a blender or food processor. If you prefer a more traditional way, you can also use a fork.

HOW TO ENTER THE PUREES OF FRUIT IN THE DIET OF THE BABY?

After 6 months eating exclusively breast milk, the baby still can not digest whole foods immediately after the meet.

The purees of fruit are, for the reason before mentioned, of the first foods to give to the baby, not only because they are easy to digest, but also because they are an ideal food to give to know other textures that are not in milk the usual.

Should be used the rule of 3 days, meaning you should wait 3 days until you enter a new fruit (or puree of fruit, in this case). This waiting period exists to give you time to get to know any intolerances and allergies to a particular food.

  1. On the first day, you should start with an amount equivalent to a tablespoon.
  2. On the following day, namely, on the second day, increase to an amount equivalent to two tablespoons two times a day.
  3. On the third day, you can provide three tablespoons two times per day.

3 DELICIOUS RECIPES AND NUTRITION FOR BABIES

  1. MANGO PUREE AND BANANA

Both the sleeve as the bananas are soothing to the belly of the baby. This combination may be offered from 6 months of age.

– Ingredients –

  • 1 Banana
  • 1 small Sleeve

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Peel the mango and the banana and cut into small pieces.
  2. Transfer all pieces to a food processor or blender.
  3. Process until the mixture becomes homogeneous.
  4. If you prefer, you can add a little water, breast milk or formula to make the puree more liquid.
  5. Serve immediately after preparation or freeze for a time in the future.
  1. PUREE OF APPLE, PEAR AND CINNAMON

This puree can be given from 6 months of age, and contains two of the fruit, the main food of the baby in the first phase.

– Ingredients –

  • 1 Apple
  • 1 Pear
  • Cinnamon powder (pinch)

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Peel the apple and pear and cut into small pieces.
  2. Fill a small pot with water, put the pieces of apple and pear, add a pinch of cinnamon. Cover the pan and cook until the required consistency is reached.
  3. After cooking, grind or crush the fruit.
  4. If you prefer, add milk or formula to make the puree a little liquid.
  5. Serve after cooking or freeze for future use.
  1. PUREE MELON AND AVOCADO

It is an option for refreshing especially on hot days, which can be provided after 6 months of age.

– Ingredients –

  • 1 Slice of melon, small
  • ½ Avocado ripe

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Cut the slice of melon into small pieces and remove the pevides.
  2. Peel the avocado and cut into small pieces.
  3. Add both the ingredients and mince them in a grinder or with the help of a fork.
  4. When the mixture is homogeneous and creamy, serve it to baby.
